The field of 21st Century skills is rapidly evolving. While these competences are highly contextual, we bear the burden of transnational comparability and collegial sensemaking of the emerging body of evidence. This Nairobi conference will be hosted by the Regional Education Learning Initiative (RELI) and maybe the first conference of its kind organized and hosted in the global south. This will be the place where the local confronts the global, and the global embrace the local. Expected are all the key global social-emotional learning field leaders to intensely engage with the curriculum and assessment experts in East Africa. This is the place to be.
